Pat was one of eight children, six brothers and one sister. He was born at 28 Cundalls Road Ware on the 17th March 1941. Although his childhood was tough he always found a way to get through. He met his wife Liz in August 1959 in Ware High Street. 18 months later they were married.
Soon after he realised that driving lorries was what he loved to do best, he fulfilled this by working on skip lorries for 27 years. When he was made redundant he decided to use his redundancy money to buy an old Ford Cargo. This worked well for Pat as he built up a good reputation for himself when working on the skips.
Then in 1996 his son-in-law Paul Smith joined the business and as a result they expanded and purchased a range of new equipment, which included a new Grab Lorry and Diggers. Business grew over the years so Paul’s sons Scott and Mitchell joined to help manage the full range of services they now offer. While the business has grown they have still kept the personal service the same and the costs competitive in this tough business environment. They now cover a broad range of services which include the following;
Grab Trucks | Ground Works | Bulk Bags | Mini Digger | Driveways | Piling
